Welcome to the Seven Principles Class This workshop is psycho-educational in nature. It is designed to provide teaching and guidance—not couples therapy. Educators are available to assist with class exercises, but they will not be conducting therapy. In plain terms: if it’s not something you would feel comfortable sharing publicly (e.g., on social media), it’s probably best not to share it here. If you are experiencing significant distress in your relationship and would like therapy, we recommend finding a Gottman Couples Therapist or other certified counselor in your area. Attendance Couples do not need to be married to attend. However, solo attendees are not permitted in couples workshops. If you are interested in a mixed psycho-educational class that includes individual participants, please contact the Garden Refuge directly to discuss options. 50% Off for Two Couples – Terms Couples using this option are not required to attend the same workshop date, only to book jointly. Garden Refuge is not responsible for any private financial arrangements between the couples. One party must pay the full amount at the time of booking. If you are unsure whether the other couple will reimburse you, do not book with them. Cancellation & Rescheduling Payments are non-refundable once made. Workshops may be rescheduled with at least 3 days’ notice. Cancellations are not permitted; however, unused balances may be applied toward three private Gottman couples coaching sessions. Please contact Garden Refuge to arrange this. Disruption Policy If any participant engages in behavior that is distressing or disruptive to other attendees, Garden Refuge staff may cancel that participant’s registration without refund and prohibit them from attending future sessions. By booking any course or workshop with Garden Refuge, you confirm that you have read and agree to these terms and conditions.
