Parenting Through Trauma: A Psychoeducational Group for Caregivers
When children go through overwhelming experiences, it can show up in ways that feel confusing and challenging for the whole family. Parenting Through Trauma is a 5-week educational group designed to help caregivers make sense of those responses and learn practical ways to respond with calm, consistency, and support.
The curriculum is drawn from the Trauma-Focused CBT model, a research-backed framework used by trauma-informed clinicians.
This educational series helps caregivers:
-
Understand common trauma-related responses in children
-
Recognize triggers and patterns in behavior
-
Learn practical ways to respond with structure and support
The group meets weekly at a cost of $30 per person, per session, paid directly (insurance is not billed since this is an educational group rather than counseling).
Spots are limited, and the group will begin once it's full. To reserve a seat, email Garden Refuge and we'll add you to the list for the next start date.
